Do you want to make the dream of higher education attainable for a North Carolina Native youth? Sponsor an educational scholarship!
-
On behalf of the United Tribes of North Carolina, I would like to express our sincere gratitude for your continued support of the United Tribes Scholarships of North Carolina. Thanks to your generous contributions, in 2026 we were able to help 20 students achieve their dream of pursuing a college education.
-
One of our primary goals is to empower young tribal members by providing the tools and resources they need to succeed in higher education. We firmly believe education is key to personal growth, stronger communities, and the preservation of our cultural heritage.
-
Since 1989, United Tribes has awarded more than $250,000 in scholarships to deserving students representing every state-recognized tribe and Indian urban organization in North Carolina. Scholarships are awarded based on academic achievement, leadership, community service, athletic achievements, character, and financial need.
-
As we continue to grow and strengthen our scholarship program, we are seeking sponsors from organizations and individuals who share our vision and values. We hope you will consider joining us this year as a United Tribes of North Carolina Education Scholarship sponsor. A generous sponsorship of $500 would directly support our efforts to assist these deserving students.
-
In 2026, United Tribes was able to match the first 20 scholarships with $500 each, with the same on track for 2027. This matching initiative reflects our commitment to our students and our appreciation for those who continue to invest in their educational journeys.

We also invite you to consider sponsoring our Awards Breakfast for students and their parents and conference award winners at a cost of $2,750. Awards Breakfast sponsors will be recognized in our conference program booklet, along with the names of all scholarship recipients.
We encourage you to include a small photo with your write-up for inclusion in the 2027 annual North Carolina Indian Unity Conference booklet.
Thank you again for your generosity and continued support. We look forward to seeing you at the 2027 North Carolina Indian Unity Conference, March 3–6, at the Raleigh Hilton North Hills, 3415 Wake Forest Road, Raleigh, NC.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
Sincerely,
Carly Graham
